ELIZABETH BARNES

Elizabeth is passionate about the transparency and glow that can be achieved with watercolours.   She retired from teaching Watercolour Painting ten years ago but enjoys her art group at Bathampton and meeting previous pupils and new friends.  She recently entered the Mayor of Bath’s Art Show, sold two paintings there and won the Turner cup as a result of getting the most votes for the people’s choice for a painting of a Welsh Cottage.   She considers this her swan song!
