Kate
works in acrylic and collage. She has a range of
styles ranging from abstract to realist and, often,
a combination of both. She loves to experiment with
new techniques.
Her influences are artists such as the cubists and
surrealists. She particularly likes to produce images
where there is strong light and shade, and to take
liberties with the original to add her artistic
interpretation.
She is self-taught, having dabbled when in her twenties,
but started making serious efforts to improve her
techniques and style when she retired. |
