I have been a member of Mon evening Bathampton group for over 25 years. When I moved to Bath over 40 years ago I went to Sydney Place for some years. This Art College was also open to the public for part time classes. I did oil painting, life drawing and for shorter periods ceramics and weaving wall hangings. I knew a number of artists in St Matthews church in Widcombe - we did a flash mob art exhibition on a gravel patch near Pulteney Weir. We just gave out business cards for people to purchase later. I am inspired by landscapes, textures, seascapes, views through windows, still life. I now use watercolour and mixed media and recently acrylic. I am in the Combe Down art trail and other local exhibitions. I also make hand-made cards and exhibit at craft fairs. |
