EXHIBITIONS

SATURDAY 27th APRIL 10.00am - 5.00pm

The Bathampton group holds exhibitions twice a year - usually April and November at the village hall and invite local established artists to judge the different catgories of work. The last exhibition was judged by Catherine Beale.

The exhibition regularly attracts a substantial amount of interest from Bath and the surrounding area. Over 120 art works will be on display. Some of our artists will be demonstrating throughout the day, displaying their expertise and talent.

Bathampton Art Group was established in 1968 by Jack Bryant who was the founding member and single handedly ran and passed on his expertise of art to the group for a number of years. Jack's artwork will be displayed at the exhibition. It began as a very small social group holding one exhibition a year. The group has grown in popularity and now has a membership of approximately 95. Bathampton Art Group is one of the most popular leisure art groups in the Bath area. Artists have developed using the expertise of the more experienced members and through guest artists.
